Background and Experience

Known for her responsive communication style and proactive management, Michaela understands the importance of keeping clients informed and supported throughout every stage of their matter. She places strong emphasis on accessibility, timely updates, and providing clear guidance to ensure clients feel confident throughout the legal process.

Michaela has worked in the legal profession since 2020 and commenced practice as a solicitor in early 2022. Michaela practises primarily in property law and commercial law, with experience advising clients across a broad range of transactions, including residential and commercial conveyancing, off-the-plan developments, leasing, business transactions, contract preparation, and general commercial advisory work.

In property transactions, Michaela places strong emphasis on careful document review, clear communication, and proactive management of issues that may affect settlement or the client’s intended use of the property. Michaela’s experience with off-the-plan developments has also provided a strong understanding of the additional complexities involved in staged projects, disclosure materials, subdivision requirements, and the coordination of multiple contractual arrangements.

Michaela approaches commercial transactions with a focus on achieving practical outcomes while protecting the client’s legal and financial interests. Michaela understands that commercial documents must be both legally sound and commercially workable and aims to ensure that agreements clearly reflect the parties’ intentions, allocate risk appropriately, and support the client’s broader business objectives.

A significant project in Michaela’s practice involved being the lead solicitor in an off-the-plan community village development comprising more than 200 lots. The matter required careful attention to contract drafting, disclosure obligations, stakeholder coordination, and the practical commercial issues that arise in large-scale property developments.
