About Anna
I provide practical, easy to understand advice and am motivated to assist my clients to reach a commercial resolution to their dispute outside of court, and without incurring the fees involved in protracted and stressful proceedings.
A decade in customer service and a degree in Communication have honed my interpersonal skills. I have an empathetic ear and aim to minimise the stress that litigation often brings as best I can.
My colleagues describe me as organised, efficient, and as having a weird sense of humour. The last point isn’t a crucial skill of a good lawyer, but if I can make a client laugh through a very difficult time in their life, then I’m happy.

Anna is a senior associate leading our litigation team.
Anna commenced her career cutting her teeth in the difficult Family Law jurisdiction, in which she excelled in dealing with a multitude of complex personalities.
By joining David Reid’s commercial team a few years ago, Anna readjusted her hardhat and expanded her scope of litigation into a more commercial nature.
Anna often helps our business clients prosecuting their commercial rights in various jurisdictions, at the same time providing the "back-end" litigious support for our construction/developer clients.
Anna has not lost sight of her Family Law roots, continuing to provide stellar advice to those of our Private Clients who find themselves at the crossroads of a relationship, as well as enabling her to provide the empathy required.
Anna's inbuilt radar to deal with personalities, and her degree in communications, serves her well to help guide our clients through the mire of litigation.
There is often only one winner when a matter ends up in court (those damn lawyers…), so Anna works feverishly to try and resolve contested matters at the earliest possible stage in order to limit exposure to legal costs, and to enable our clients to get on with their business/life.
Yet, if the matter is incapable of being resolved, Anna can morph into the fierce litigator driving a matter to hearing.
When she’s not in the office, Anna can be found with her friends, family and two disobedient rescue dogs.
